How to Watch

After six months of dating, the duo had gotten engaged in October 2021 and then tied the knot in November 2022.

“All I can tell you is that I 100 percent know I’m with the man that I’m gonna be with for the rest of my life and that’s all I feel confident about," Madison exclusively told The Daily Dish while gushing about Brett during their wedding month. “I will say I’m not a huge PDA person, but we are like that couple. I mean, just because it’s like... we can’t keep our hands off each other when we are together."

Who is Brett Randle on Southern Charm?

Hailing from California, Brett brings some West-coast cool to Madison's Southern lifestyle. The hairstylist revealed in a July 2022 interview with E! News that her husband comes from a family of eight and was raised Mormon.

Notoriously private (you won't find him on social media, save for in his wife's Instagram snaps), fans got to know Brett when he made his Bravo debut in Season 9.

“He is good looking. He is an adult. He cares about other people other than himself. He’s perfect in bed. The list goes on and on,” shared Madison in Season 9 Episode 1.

Another thing we know about Brett? He’s allergic to carrots.

“I made a pot roast for Brett. My pot roast is very good. He sat there, ate, left all the carrots around,” shared Madison in Episode 2. “And then I was like, ‘Oh my god, he’s allergic to f-cking carrots.’ But he didn’t complain one time, it was so nice.”

How did Brett Randle and Madison LeCroy meet?

Madison and Brett met while on vacation with separate friend groups in Arizona. Though they lived across the country from each other, they were determined to make things work.

"It’s definitely nice to not only feel like you’ve met your best friend but to also have security and feel safe. It’s always been one or the other. I’ve never had both. I know, if anything, he would take care of me, he would take care of [my son] Hudson," Madison told The Daily Dish in an interview. "I feel safe with him. I know he has my best interest and I know that whatever happens, he’s on my side. I think he puts me before he does himself, and I do the same for him.”

When did Brett Randle propose to Madison LeCroy?

After six months of dating, Brett proposed to Madison in October 2021 with her son Hudson's help.

“When [Brett] asked my son if he could be his stepdad and be a part of our lives, my son had one request, and that was that he was a part of the proposal. It was so, so sweet," Madison told Us Weekly in October 2021.

Hudson — who Madison shares with ex-husband Josh Hughes — suggested a limousine be part of the occasion. Following the luxury ride, they returned home for the big moment.

“He proposed to me in the living room, and my son’s behind him, just clapping,” Madison added.

When did Brett Randle and Madison LeCroy get married?

The duo wed in November 2022 with not just one, but two wedding ceremonies. On the 19th, they officially exchanged vows in Mexico.

A few days earlier, they'd had an intimate courthouse ceremony at home in Charleston.

“Brett and I got married in Mexico in November of 2022," she said in Season 9, Episode 1. "[My son] Hudson was holding my veil and the rings. No bridesmaids or anything, it was just him and Brett. It took everything in me to not start bawling crying.”

What does Brett Randle do for work?

Brett works as a chief firefighter in California.

“It’s a great job, but it’s in California, so he’s gone for about three days and home for eight. I want to make sure that every time Brett comes home he feels like I made it special,” she shared in Season 9, Episode 1.

During Season 9, Episode 2, Madison announced he’d taken a step back from the frontlines for his and his family’s safety.

How does the Southern Charm cast feel about Brett Randle?

According to Madison, her ex Austen Kroll didn't have the most congratulatory of words for her when she announced her engagement.

“When I told Austen I was gonna marry Brett, he said, ‘I think you’re picking the wrong guy,’” Madison claimed in Season 8, Episode 5. “I was like, ‘Oh god, only you would say that instead of just [congratulating] me.’”

For what it's worth, the Grand Dame of Charleston, Patricia Altschul, has a different take on the matter.

“The new hubby is sweet, kind and ever so good looking,” Patricia wrote in a January 2023 Instagram caption after an evening out with her son, Whitney Sudler-Smith, Madison, and Brett.

Your First Look at Southern Charm Season 9

Did Brett Randle appear in Season 9 of Southern Charm?

Yes, indeed! Brett made his Bravo debut during Episode 1, facing Madison's son Hudson in a gel blaster gun war while she got dinner ready.

While Brett appeared multiple times throughout the season (including during the couple's wedding party in Episode 1 and when he helped Hudson after a fight in Episode 7), we learned the most about him during Episode 14 when Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo came over for a dinner party.

“So, Brett, how are you liking Charleston? asked Paige.

“I love it. I had never been to South Carolina until I met [Madison], and I came out here and I love it,” he shared. “I thought Charleston was gonna be a little more traditional, and then, like, she’s telling me some stuff and I’m like … what do you guys do out here?”

He also shared how exactly he picked out Madison’s engagement ring.

“I asked her,” said Brett. “She gave me two that she liked.”

Do Brett Randle and Madison LeCroy have a long-distance relationship?

Madison clarified her living situation with Brett when Season 9 premiered.

“Let me just jump on here and clarify this,” Madison said during an Amazon Live the day the season premiered. “So, my husband — and I don’t know how this got twisted — we’re not long-distance, OK? He literally just travels for work. So this is his home. This is where we live. This is our full-time residence. He just goes to work just like everybody [else’s] husband that works out of town, and then he comes right home.”

She followed up in response to a question from host Andy Cohen during Part 1 of the Southern Charm Season 9 reunion in January 2024.

“So, pretty much he’s gone for three or four days. And he’s home the rest. I don’t think that anyone can put up with me 24/7, but he says he can,” she happily shared.

What is Brad Randle's relationship with Madison LeCroy's son Hudson?

“To see Hudson and Brett play together means the world to me,” Madison shared in Season 9, Episode 1. “This is the first time that my son has had this family. His dad is very involved, but to have us all in the house and being together as a unit, I think he really loves that.”

She talked more about their family dynamics during the Season 9 reunion.

“You know, honestly, another reason the long distance works is Hudson still has me all to himself certain days. And Brett has never tried to be his dad or step into that role, but, you know, Hudson looks up to Brett in a lot of ways,” shared Madison.

Are Madison LeCroy and Brett Randle going to have a baby?

During the Season 9 reunion, Madison said the two hadn't made a decision on expanding their family.

Madison in particular called any potential new baby “God’s plan.”

She added that, while she’s considered surrogacy, she's not ready to take that step to have another child. “I think I need to do it myself,” she said.
