After Show: Is Vicki Planning on Marrying Steve?

Those watching Monday's Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen's after show got a special treat when Vicki Gunvalson's son-in-law Ryan Culberson extended an olive branch, so to speak, to Lydia McLaughlin's mom, Judy Stirling.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

The reconciliation is a long time coming for those who remember their showdown in Season 8 when Ryan chastised Judy for putting her feet up on Vicki's couch.

Fairy Dusting the Wrong Person

Lydia stopped by The Daily Dish Podcast and talked about Ryan's offer to "smoke a peace pipe" with Judy once he's officially out of the Marines.

"You will see, I see Ryan I think twice this season when we’re filming, and I had made amends with him already and to see him now calling and apologizing was really good, because I don’t like drama. My mom doesn’t like drama. That whole thing was just so upsetting. It was a little bit of the reason why I left [the show after Season 8]. Like you’re attacking my mom and she’s not even on camera, but you know it was in the past, and I didn’t want to bring it up again this season, but I think everyone wanted an ending to that, and so I’m glad that we all got to have it."

Lydia made it clear that she holds no ill will toward him.

"I don’t want to drag anyone through the mud, you know? He made a mistake. Let’s move on. Let’s move forward. And I was so grateful and glad that he accepted responsibility and wants to move forward, and he spoke my mom’s love language!"
