Here’s How the RHONY Ladies Reacted to Luann de Lesseps’ New Song
The cabaret star revealed how her fellow Housewives feel about her upcoming track, "Viva La Diva."
Luann de Lesseps is about to release a new song — and from the sounds of it, this track will have her embracing her diva side. After teasing more music at BravoCon 2019 in November, The Real Housewives of New York City cast member revealed that she’s gearing up to drop her next track, appropriately titled “Viva La Diva.”
The fresh single will make its debut in January, and, according to the cabaret star, it’s going to be unlike anything she’s done before. This particular tune will have a Latin-inspired feel, as she described to People earlier this month.
“It’s an amazing song,” she told the magazine. “It’s totally different from anything I’ve done before, but still very much me. I can’t wait for people to hear it.”
Luann collaborated with famed songwriter and producer Desmond Child, who has previously worked with Ricky Martin, Selena Gomez, and Bon Jovi, on the track. The RHONY performer revealed the two met during an appearance at SiriusXM and quickly hit it off.
“We started talking and realized we had mutual friends. And I told him it’d be great to start working on a song together, and he said, ‘Love it! When?’ So we didn’t waste time putting it together,” she stated.
Luann plans to sing the song in her upcoming cabaret show F, Marry, Kill, which also kicks off in January. But there are at least a few people who have already gotten a sneak peek of the song — several of Luann’s fellow RHONY Housewives.
“I played it for the girls when we were in Mexico and they loved it. It’s so fun!” Luann said of their reaction to the song.
