Luann de Lesseps Dishes on Next Season's 'RHONY'
The Countess promises no shortage of drama, but also some positive relationship changes.
With the next season of The Real Housewives of New York CIty currently filming, it's only a matter of time before we see who's going to get along—and who isn't. And Luann dishes that we have plenty to look forward to—especially when it comes time for the infamous vacation.
"We just came from the Housewives trip. That was pretty crazy," she tells People. "We always say to each other when we start the season, 'What are we gonna come up with this time around?'"
That's not to say that it's anything the ladies actually come up with. The Countess assures that every catfight is organic. "We don't make this stuff up," she explains. "It all stems from what is really going on with us, so I was thinking, 'What kind of drama is there really gonna be?' Because God knows the show doesn't work without some drama. And you know, it just happens."
Luckily we have some positive experiences to look forward to as well—including a rekindling with returning cast member Bethenny Frankel. "I didn't know what it was gonna be like, I thought it was going to be awkward but it actually turned out to be good," LuAnn explains. "We get along really well so it's like old times … it's kind of like the good old days of Housewives."
Would those good old days include the typical differences between the Countess and Turtle Timer Ramona Singer? Don't count on it. "You are going to see a different dynamic between Ramona and myself," she shares. "It's changed for the good."
