Here's How Luann D'Agostino and Jill Zarin Stayed Friends After RHONY
The #RHONY newlywed teases a "fun" return for the alum.
Hold onto your apples, The Real Housewives of New York City, fans! Jill Zarin will make her triumphant return to RHONY in Wednesday night's episode at 9/8c.
As the below sneak peek of the episode shows, Jill will sit down with Luann D'Agostino and Dorinda Medley to discuss — what else — all of the drama that's gone down this season of RHONY so far. "Well, you know, Jill has been a friend of mine for a long time since we started The Real Housewives together and even before that," Luann said during an interview with The Daily Dish earlier this spring. "So Jill is funny, she's a character that everybody knows from the show. So I thought it would be fun to bring her back."
Luann teased that Jill was "thrilled" to be back on RHONY and see herself in the trailer for this season "because she loves the show." In fact, Jill gushed about her return to RHONY on Instagram after the supertease revealed that she would be making an appearance later on this season. "It was a thrill to film again and reminded me of how much fun we had back in the day," she captioned a photo of herself with her fellow Season 1 cast members. "Thank you for all your love and support. Bobby and I had a great time even if only for a moment."
Jill may have last appeared on RHONY in Season 4, but that hasn't affected her friendship with Luann one bit. The two have remained as close as ever through the years with Jill even attending Luann's wedding to Thomas D'Agostino with husband Bobby Zarin last New Year's Eve in Palm Beach. "Jill and I are friends, and that friendship lasts. As Housewives come and go, Jill [has] always been in my life. She lives in the Hamptons, in New York, so we see each other socially, and Jill is a friend," Luann explained. "Friends are friends. Housewives are not."
RHONY alum Alex McCord also recently told The Daily Dish that Jill has been "a great pen pal" since their time on the show and one of the castmates she keeps in touch with the most today. "When she and I talk, we don't talk about the show. We talk about kids and what we're doing. It's nice that we can go from having that shared experience," Alex shared. "Don't forget, on the show we were killing each other. But we don't talk about that, because that's in the past. We talk about dogs and what's happening today."
