The new series follows five American singles traveling to an unknown overseas destination in search of love.
What if your soulmate was on the other side of the earth? That’s exactly what the cast of Love Without Borders is about to find out.
Coming to Bravo on Wednesday, November 30, the new dating show follows five singles who have struck out at love in the United States. Each of them will travel to an unknown overseas destination to be paired with their “perfect” life partner, but not before saying goodbye to their jobs, homes, and families.
Thankfully, they won’t be completely on their own. As relationship expert Arica Angelo explains in the above first look at Love Without Borders, she’ll not only match the cast members with their potential soulmates but also help them as they move in and live with their new partners.
Along the way, they’ll get to experience life as a local — a welcome change for many of them, including Gurleen Virk, who’s been putting up with San Diego’s “hookup culture” for too long. “I suck at casual dating,” she says in the trailer. “I go on a date and I envision the next five years of our life together.”
Naeem Thompson is equally fed up with Texas, explaining, “I don’t fit in with the dating scene or dating expectations in Houston.”
Others, while just as eager to jump at the opportunity that Love Without Borders presents, are more hesitant to leave home. Aaron Motacek belongs to a tight-knit family, and when his mom reassures him that he’ll be “coming back” when the social experiment ends, he hesitantly tells her, “I mean, it could be long term.”
Then there’s Danna Richards and Philip Michael Thomas Jr., both musicians ready to risk it all for love. Danna hails from Montana but began embracing adventure long ago, giving up her traditional home to roam the country in a van, while Philip is so focused on finding the right relationship that he has committed himself to celibacy.

Aaron Motacek
Aaron, a 31-year-old optometrist, has limited dating options in his hometown of Fargo, N.D. Although he knows he must make a drastic choice to find love, leaving his close-knit family won’t be easy. Being in a loving relationship is a priority and leaving his comfortable life and his brother’s optometry practice is a gamble he’s eager to take.

Danna Richards
Danna is a 38-year-old musician and songwriter who knows a thing or two about risky ventures. The Livingston, Mont., native has already given up her traditional home to take in the country’s wide-open spaces in a retrofitted Sprinter van. Free-spirited Danna is ready to start a family and willing to give up her home on the road for one that’s completely unknown in hopes of finding the One.

Philip Michael Thomas Jr.
Based in Atlanta, Philip is a musician on the rise. He’s experienced a lot in the local dating scene and decided to focus on finding a real relationship. He’s been single for seven months and celibate for four so he can to clear his mind and create space for the loving relationship he hopes is just around the corner – or around the globe.

Naeem Thompson
Naaem is an easygoing social worker who works with middle school students and lives just outside Houston. He considers himself a big kid at heart and is ready to have children of his own. While suffering from a hard-hitting case of Covid, he received a message from God telling him to re-examine his relationships with women, find a wife and settle down. Naeem is more than ready to change his ways and take one of the biggest chances of his life to meet his match.
