Lisa Vanderpump Praises Katie Maloney-Schwartz for Opening Up About Her Accident
The Vanderpump Rules restaurateur is always happy to see the SURver's self-confidence about her scar.
Lisa Vanderpump and Katie Maloney-Schwartz shared a very special moment in Monday night's episode of Vanderpump Rules. Lisa consoled Katie after famous event planner Kevin Lee made some derogatory comments about her appearance at the Beverly Hills Lifestyle Magazine party.
In the episode, Lisa praised Katie for having so much self-confidence over the years, especially after she was left with a scar on her face after falling through a skylight in 2009. "I remember so well... @MusicKillsKate Hearing of your accident and how you were so concerned for your job," Lisa tweeted to Katie during the episode. "Loved you then and now."
Kristen Doute was also proud of Katie for opening up about her accident on Vanderpump Rules. "I’m so happy that @MusicKillsKate was finally able to shine light on her accident," she tweeted. "That story will never not make me emotional."
Even though Scheana Shay isn't on the best of terms with Katie these days, she still showed some love to the SURver on Twitter. "Just want to say, @MusicKillsKate despite our differences we've had, you are gorgeous and the comments made about your weight that night made me cringe," Scheana tweeted. "You are a beautiful woman."
Katie thanked Lisa for her "constant support and love" on Twitter. She also showed her gratitude for Kristen's kind words tweeting, "I love you so much!!"
In fact, Katie received some touching messages from friends and fans alike. "Wow, I’m emotional over all the kind tweets from everyone tonight," she tweeted. "Feeling the love and can’t thank y’all enough!!!!!"
