Ken Todd Just Made a Surprising Statement About His Marriage to Lisa Vanderpump
During an emotional chat with LVP about love, Lala Kent also revealed her plans for her romantic life and the future of her family.
In a sea of relationship drama on Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules, we have an update on all things Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd (and we don’t just mean the fact that they recently welcomed a new mini horse, Velvet, into their lives).
After joking about having already tried some of Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix’s sandwiches at her house (aka Villa Rosa) in a private tasting before the Something About Her party that was featured on Episode 14 of Vanderpump Rules Season 10, Ken entered the chat with a joke about his decades-long marriage to Lisa.
What Ken Revealed About His Marriage to Lisa
“When she kicks me out [of the house], it’ll all be hers,” he joked on the May 10 episode of Vanderpump Rules, to which LVP joked back, “When I finally see the light after 40 years.”
From there, Lala Kent wanted some of Lisa’s wisdom in the romance department. “Do you think people my age can go out and find somebody and be with them for 40 years?” she asked the Vanderpump Rules matriarch. “Of course you can,” Lisa noted, with a caveat that it really depends on “what you want to put into it.”
Lisa’s Relationship with Lala
Lala, who became a mom back in 2021 when she welcomed her daughter, Ocean, noted, “I just want another baby. I want to experience that moment again of bringing a baby into my home.”
Lala revealed in a confessional that she plans to become a mother again, even if she doesn’t meet a partner and that “the next step is to get a sperm donor and my co-parent will be my mama.”
LVP noted that “that’s a hell of a line to draw in the sand. Wouldn’t you just want to be in a loving relationship, feel secure with somebody, and then have another baby?” The answer for Lala is “of course,” but she says she also “doesn’t want to put [her] life on hold.”
More on Lisa and Ken’s Marriage
Lisa and Ken are, of course, parents to Pandora and Max. They were married in August 1982, and when speaking to The Daily Dish several years ago, Lisa shared what has kept their marriage strong after all these years, even as things have “changed” for them over time.
She said, “I think that having that support as a partner is really an integral part of your security.”
If you’re wondering why she goes by her maiden name, she shared all in an interview with The Daily Dish a few years back: “I never actually changed my name. I didn’t change my passport. I didn’t change anything. So I was always Lisa Vanderpump.”
