Lindsay Hubbard Shares a Behind-the-Scenes Look at Her Daughter's Birth (PHOTOS)
Summer House's Lindsay Hubbard gushed that she's "over the moon" with happiness after welcoming Gemma Kufe.
Lindsay Hubbard is in full-on mom mode after welcoming daughter Gemma Britt Kufe in early December, but she just took a few minutes to share some snapshots from the day she gave birth.
The Summer House-mate posted a series of photos of her on her hospital bed in the delivery room on her Instagram Stories on December 11. The first few photos were taken before Gemma's arrival, and the second set of images featured the newborn nuzzling into Lindsay's chest.
"Literal seconds before I started pushing," she wrote in the caption of her first photo, which you can check out below.
In another image, Lindsay showed herself in the hospital bed giving two thumbs up signs to the camera. In the caption, she noted that she was "simultaneously in the weeds and over the moon with happiness" since arriving home from the hospital.
Just a few minutes after she started pushing, Lindsay gave birth to her baby girl.
"The happiest, most love-overflowing moment of my life," she wrote about the experience.
"And then she went straight for the boob and never looked back," she joked in her conclusion about her daughter.
Lindsay Hubbard opens up about being pregnant on Summer House Season 9
Lindsay has officially given birth, but she was in her second trimester with Gemma when Summer House Season 9 filmed in the Hamptons.
She opened up about what it was like to be pregnant in a house that's known for its epic parties during an appearance on Bravo's Hot Mic podcast.
"I had a lot of energy; I was growing; I had fun with it, and to be honest with you, it was so much fun being able to celebrate openly after I announced and celebrate with everyone in the house,” Lindsay explained to producer Alex Baskin about celebrating the exciting news with her castmates over the summer (after announcing her pregnancy on July 4). “It almost felt like we were having a joint, collective baby."
She's excited for viewers to see her in a new light this time around.
"I think it gave me the opportunity to almost show a different side of me that maybe viewers haven’t seen before or maybe that haven’t paid attention to because I’m always drunk on all the other seasons," she continued. "But... I was really happy and giggly for the most part, and funny and cracking jokes and was able to have more deeper, intimate relationships form, I think, with really just everyone."
