LI Princess Ashlee White Apologizes for "Ghetto" Comments
The Princesses: Long Island star addresses Freeport residents in her Bravotv.com blog.
Princess of Long Island Ashlee White may be small, but she's already caused a big commotion. Trouble brewed when she drove through the town of Freeport to pick up her friend Joey Lauren. While on the phone to her dad she called Freeport a "ghetto," while he advised her to roll up the car windows.
The folks of Freeport -- and Twitter -- weren't too pleased to hear their fair town referred to in a disparaging way.
Ashlee took to her Bravotv.com blog to offer an apology.,
"First and foremost, I extend my sincerest heartfelt apology for anyone I hurt or offended with the comments I made in Freeport," she wrote. "I was stressed, overwhelmed, and not thinking. I’m not excusing myself, but truly want everyone to know how sorry I am. If you think you know me after one scene, you are short changing yourself because my heart is as large as my stature is short."
The petite princess admits that she's spoiled but says that she's also a loyal friend and incredibly close to her family. Let's see if the denizens of Freeport accept her contrition.
