Lexi Wilson Reveals What Below Deck Med Fans May Not Realize About Breakfast Service

The Below Deck Med stew addresses her performance during the latest charter.

By Laura Rosenfeld

With this season's conflict in the rearview mirror, the Below Deck Mediterranean crew put their teamwork into overdrive to welcome a new group of charter guests to the Lady Michelle in the August 16 episode. However, chief stew Katie Flood expressed some concerns about Lexi Wilson being able to juggle all of the responsibilities required of a second stew after a not-so-smooth breakfast service.

The Lady Michelle crew opened up more about Lexi's performance during this charter in the Below Deck Mediterranean After Show with Katie, third stew Courtney Veale, and chef Mathew Shea all offering up their theories on why the quality of Lexi's work in the interior seemed to be slipping. You can check it out above by signing up for Bravo Insider.

As for Lexi, she explained that there simply weren't enough people in the crew to keep up with the unique needs of this particular charter group. "For this size yacht, it runs with four stewardesses, so we were already shorthanded based on [the] size of the yacht and how much crew is needed to service this yacht. So in the interior, with that amount of guests and their drinking ability, the amount of drinks they're taking down, it's impossible to keep up with one girl," she said. "And you have to bear in mind, we also have different duties as well, so not just taking care of drinks; it's also, you have to clean the cabins, you have to prepare the table, and I think a lot of that wasn't shown."

Lexi also revealed what really "takes up so much time" during breakfast service and what made these charter guests "harder to keep up with." "Like, you have so [many] things going on behind the scenes," Lexi shared. "So it definitely weighed heavily on me to keep it up and try to do a good job."

The Below Deck Med crew breaks down all of the drama from this charter, including what made the always-challenging slide even more difficult this season. For instant access, as well as more exclusive content featuring your favorite Bravolebs, sign up to be a Bravo Insider.
