Lamar Odom Shuts Down Reports He Was Kidnapped During Gambling Deal

As Luann de Lesseps  has said: "the most interesting people make the best headlines." Lamar Odom — who's been the subject of much tabloid fodder — can certainly relate to that. But the former Kardashian husband is calling bull-you-know-what on the latest rumor surrounding his (fictional) antics. 

Radar Online recently put out a story claiming that the former basketball pro had been kidnapped by people wanting to collect his gambling debt while he was visiting a woman in Oregon. What intrigue! But alas, also, what baloney. 

A rep for the athlete told People: "We are aware of the false story circulating around regarding Lamar. We are not denying that Lamar does know this woman, however she was merely an acquaintance and nothing more who has had a hard time with the fact that Lamar does not want to have any contact with her and therefore she has been stalking him and seeking attention from the media. We are in the process of seeking a restraining order.”

Odom himself also responded to the wild story, posting a screen shot of it on Instagram along with his own annotation. In a caption, he wrote: "i also got lost in a rabbit hole together with my kidnapers, rapunzel and the 7 dwarfs saved me ! We all lived happily ever after. Can you please add this to the story ? Don't leave out the juicy facts ... this bulls--- makes me wanna start my own gossip online platform and report stories only about me. What y'all think?"
