The VPR mom explained the dental mishap involving her oldest daughter, Ocean.

Lala Kent is here to explain why her daughter Ocean Kent Emmett two front teeth appear to be different colors in different photos. Lala's oldest daughter, who she shares with her ex-fiancé, experienced trauma to her mouth earlier this summer, and the Vanderpump Rules mom explained why it caused her teeth to change color.

The mom of two frequently posts photos of her two adorable daughters — Ocean and 3-month-old Sosa Kent —  to Instagram. But, some of her Instagram followers noticed that Ocean's two front teeth are sometimes gray and sometimes white, depending on the photo. Lala took to her Instagram Story over the weekend, according to Page Six, where she provided some clarity about Ocean's two front teeth.

"I'm usually the type to not read [and] ignore comments. But we are from Utah honey...We are teeth people! So I could not let this comment slide," Lala wrote over the now-disappeared Story, which included a close up photo of Ocean's two little gray front teeth. "Ocean has a fond relationship with her wild side and enjoys not listening. She fell off her bike face first."

Lala Kent reveals why Ocean's baby teeth are temporarily damaged

This caused "trauma" to her two front teeth, which Lala will sometimes edit on Instagram in order to appear whiter. "Go ahead and judge," she continued. "The root isn't dead, but we go to the dentist every 3-6 months for check-ins. They will likely have to be pulled or she will have to have a root canal."

Lala previously opened up about this during a June 24 episode of her podcast, Give Them LalaDuring the episode, Lala explained that her daughter's "fabulous dentist" revealed that there is trauma to Ocean's mouth from where she fell off her bike, causing the nerve inside of the tooth to bleed. "It can sometimes cause a yellow effect, or it can cause a purple effect, which can turn the teeth to, when you look at them, they're looking a little gray, which is what happened to Ocean."

Luckily, Lala explained that Ocean is only 3 years old, and has plenty of time before her adult teeth grow in. "She goes, 'The color will likely not come back.' She's like, 'But focus on the good news, these are baby teeth. When her grown adult teeth come in, they're going to be fine.'"

"It's scary," she continued. "I understand we're letting go, because I have some friends who are parents who are overly protective of their kids, and I kind of get it. You want to wrap them in bubble wrap."

Lala Kent says she had to "almost" give Ocean an "unfortunate haircut"

This isn't the only struggle that Lala has had with Ocean over the past year. In November, Lala took to her Instagram Story where she revealed that Ocean had cut her bangs and hair shorter with Sosa's nail scissors. Lala then took to her Instagram feed on Nov. 30, where she recapped the month in photos and revealed that she almost had to cut Ocean's hair even shorter.

In the photos, Ocean can be seen sporting new, side swept bangs, decorating her family's Christmas tree, posing with Santa Claus, posing with her baby sister, and smiling throughout it all. "November, you did not disappoint," Lala wrote in the caption of the post. "Sosa had her first pool day. Ocean used her pipes to check us while decorating the tree (yes, I turned the music down). I almost had to give O a very unfortunate hair cut. We got pictures with Santa (this is a huge deal). It was my little turkey's first Thanksgiving."
