Kyle Richards Just Threw Some Major Shade at Dorit Kemsley's Fashion Show
"The stuff about my line really pissed me off," Kyle Richards said on Watch What Happens Live.
Dorit Kemsley helped Kyle Richards as she neared the finish line of putting on her very first New York Fashion Week runway show in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 10 premiere. But as Dorit noticed how much work there was left to be done before the big day, she expressed some concerns over how Kyle was going to be able to pull it off.
In fact, Dorit seemed to have a lot to say about Kyle's clothing line, suggesting that her friend thought she could "just throw [her] name on it, and it'll be a success." Dorit also said during the episode that it was up to her to "save Kyle's fashion show from Kyle."
Kyle admitted during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home on April 29 that she was none too pleased with what Dorit had to say about her fashion show during the episode. She also took the opportunity to throw a teeny bit of shade at Dorit's Beverly Beach runway show in Season 8.
"I was really mad. I was really upset by that because I do not mind her joking that I don't know what I was doing with the fashion show. Her fashion show was in a warehouse here in L.A.; mine was at New York Fashion Week," Kyle told Andy Cohen (clip above). "But I hired a very big production team to put on that fashion show. I knew nothing about a fashion show. However, my line, I worked on for over a year leading up to that with Shahida, so the stuff about my line really pissed me off."
Dorit said she was a fan of Kyle's collaboration with Shahida when she appeared on WWHL: @ Home on April 15, although she also couldn't resist showing a little sass. "I liked her designs, and she was definitely in over her head," Dorit said. "But she'll figure it out, for sure."
