Here's How Kyle Richards Felt After Seeing Lisa Vanderpump for the First Time in 8 Months
"She turned around and she looked like she saw a ghost," Kyle Richards said of reuniting with Lisa Vanderpump.
Lisa Vanderpump recently revealed that she bumped into Kyle Richards for the first time since their friendship came to an end earlier this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (clip above). Now, Kyle is giving a little more insight into how that reunion really went down.
Kyle recently shared with Us Weekly she ran into Lisa at the Chanel counter in Neiman Marcus. “I haven’t seen her for eight months. And I was just like, I said, ‘Hi, Lisa,’" Kyle recalled. "She turned around and she looked like she saw a ghost. She took a double take and she said, ‘Oh, my God. Wow.’”
Kyle said she agreed with Lisa's assessment of the meeting. “We spoke for quite a bit,” Kyle said. “Like she said, it was OK.”
Kyle then went on to say that she would have preferred to catch up with Lisa after all this time in a more private setting. “It was extremely awkward at Chanel in Neiman Marcus, let me tell you," Kyle shared. "It started getting very busy in there too.”
Despite not having seen or spoken to Lisa in eight months, Kyle said that she hasn't given up hope these two can one day repair their relationship. “I would like to think we can be friends again,” Kyle told PEOPLE in April. “I always have room in my heart for someone that I have cared about.”
Although Lisa said during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last month that she was disappointed her friendship with Kyle ended this way, especially since they used to have "a lot of fun together," she hinted it might be for the best. "Of course I miss that friendship, but maybe it wasn't such a good friendship after all is said and done," she shared.
