The RHOBH cast member played a special role in her second-oldest daughter's engagement to Jake Zingerman.
Kyle Richards wasn't surprised when her second oldest daughter, Alexia Umansky, got engaged last month. This is because The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member helped Alexia's fiancé, Jake Zingerman, pick out the engagement ring.
The mom of four recently shared new details about her daughter's proposal plans and how she played an instrumental and special role in their engagement. Jake first asked Kyle for "permission" to marry Alexia, "and then he had me help him through the process of picking out the ring," she explained in an interview with Parade.
"And he was so cute, including me," she noted. "I went with him to many different places to look and it was just so sweet that he included me in that whole process."
Given Kyle's incredible taste in fashion and jewelry, it shouldn't come as a surprise that Alexia ended up with a stunning engagement ring.

Jake proposed to Alexia with an elongated cushion-cut diamond with a white gold band, surrounded by two smaller diamonds on either side of the center stone. To make things even sweeter, Jake had "sweetheart" engraved inside of the band along with a small heart. It's so perfectly adorable, sentimental, and so Alexia. Momma really does know best.

Kyle did not give any indication that she knew about the engagement prior to it happening. But when it did happen, she revealed that she was so excited for the new couple. She took to Instagram a day after the engagement, where she posted a series of photos taken after Jake popped the question.
"She said Yes!" Kyle wrote in the caption of the post. "So happy for you both!! Jake you have always been a part of our family and now it's official! We love you guys so much!!"

Kyle recently told Parade that Alexia is now in the beginning stages of wedding planning. "I've just been thinking about, you know, venues like, where does she want to get married, LA or Aspen? So we'll see," she said.

Jake proposed to Alexia in their Los Angeles house on Nov. 8 before having their family and friends over to celebrate them. Days later, on Nov. 12, the couple celebrated their fifth anniversary. Alexia took to Instagram at the time, where she posted a Reel comprised with videos taken of them over the past few years.
"20 years of friendship. 5 years in a relationship," she wrote in the caption of the post. "And now...husband and wife?!!! For the rest of our lives?!!! Piece of cake...we've been doing this. Happy 5 Year Anniversary, my angel. I love you. Thank you for loving me."
"Love you guys so much. True soul mates," Kyle commented.
