Kyle Richards Addresses Calling Denise Richards a “Ragamuffin”
The RHOBH cast member explains why she used that term to describe Denise Richards.
Kyle Richards is addressing the moment she called Denise Richards a "ragamuffin" during the May 6 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Kyle opened up about why she called Denise that in a series of tweets on Wednesday. It turns out that for Kyle it is a term that ties back to her late mom, Kathleen Richards.
"My mom used to call me that when I looked messy. She would say 'don't run around like a ragamuffin.' Doesn't make it right that I said that. Not nice. Denise is beautiful no doubt. The margaritas, exhaustion [and] emotions not bringing out the best in me," Kyle tweeted.
She went on to explain that she was feeling emotionally spent and tired in the moment. "I was so exhausted this night from traveling I honestly was about to snap," she tweeted. "It felt like everyone was against me and I was too tired and emotional to deal with any of this."
Kyle was definitely feeling emotional during the May 6 episode of RHOBH; she even broke down in tears at a backyard party thrown by Denise while addressing her loyalty to her friends (above).
The latest dinner party drama came a week after the get-together at Kyle's house in which Denise's husband, Aaron Phypers, opened up about his job in frequency medicine in great detail and left everyone scratching their heads at his intense explanation about what he does for a living.
