Kim Kardashian and Kanye West May Be Living In Their Pricey New Pad: Get the Details and How Far Away It Is from Kris Jenner
New year, new home.
Bye, Bel Air! Hello, Hidden Hills! After turning a sizable profit on their Bel Air mansion, the couple have reportedly moved into their new home in the Hidden Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, a source tells Us Weekly. The couple reportedly paid $20 million for the home. Last month it was reported that Kimye sold their aforementioned Bel Air home for $17.8 million, nearly doubling their profits after buying the home for $9 million back in 2013. As it turns out, mama Kris Jenner is not too far away in case they need a babysitter or some advice. She reportedly bought a home across the street.
Us Weekly futher notes that the pair bought the home way back in 2014 and have been working hard on personalizing it since then. Back in the summer, an insider told the publication: "The home is done in terms of the renovation but it’s finishing up the smaller things – they don’t want to move in with any construction still happening.”
As you might recall, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent Josh Altman had a hand in selling that Bel Air home. The stats on that home? The 9,000-square-foot pad includes six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and a truly Kimye-minimalist aesthetic. Josh spoke to The Daily Dish about the sale last month.
"Look, I knew it was going to be difficult. I knew that what's special about this house if you really think about it, it's the first Kim and Kanye collaboration of a piece of real estate ever and that's available for the public to purchase," he said. "So you could look at it as these are two visionaries. You've got trendsetting, envelope-pushing superstars that built this themselves. They didn't care what anyone else thought. And this for the first time ever, this piece of art is available to purchase and it's really worth what somebody's willing to pay for it."
Cheers to spending the holidays in Hidden Hills and welcoming a baby in the new year.
