Kelly Bensimon's Beloved Horse Dies
The former housewife calls Connor "valiant" and "the most handsome horse."
Former The Real Housewives of New York cast member and avid equestrian Kelly Killoren Bensimon has revealed some devastating news: her beloved horse Connor has died.
"He was valiant, gentle, and athletic. He taught me so much about riding. The Bensimon family will miss him," she Tweeted yesterday.
Today she also shared a photo of the two of them together, captioning it "A day of silence for Connor."
Kelly has long admired horses, writing in one of her earliest blog posts for BravoTV.com, "I love their athleticism and playfulness. I am hooked." In that same post, she talked about what it's like to get back on a horse after being injured by one. "Like I always tell my girls, 'Killorens always finish strong.'" We wish lots of strength to Kelly and her family in their time of loss.
