Nearly two decades after they ended their stint co-hosting LIVE!, Kathie Lee Gifford and Regis Philbin are clearly still BFFs. The duo was spotted outside of a West Hollywood hotspot, Craig's (a favorite eatery among the Bravo set), this week.
When Kathie Lee previously appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she spilled some tea about her former co-host to Andy Cohen, sharing, "He smells really clean. You know what? I was with him on 15 years and never smelled an odor that I didn't like. I have to have a clean co-host .... Gotta have the hygiene going." Truth. Kathie Lee and Regis sat side-by-side on LIVE! from 1985 until her exit in 2000. After a long audition process, Kelly Ripa eventually filled her spot. She remains on the talk show, currently alongside Ryan Seacrest; however Regis left the program in 2011. Kelly recently spilled on what it was like for her to share the studio with Regis. "Regis had a mandate: Absolutely no talking off-camera,” she told The New York Times. “He had almost a superstition about it. You save it for the show. I’d be like, ‘Good morning,’ and he’d say, ‘Save it for the air!’”
