Karen Huger Reveals Her Daughter, Rayvin, Just Did *This* for the First Time: “My Heart Is So Full”

Being a mama makes Karen Huger glow brighter than a three-wick candle. The La’ Dame founder shares a special bond with her daughter, Rayvin Huger, and she’s never been shy about gushing over Rayvin’s accomplishments. But it’s Rayvin’s latest grand gesture that has the Grande Dame of Potomac proclaiming that her heart is “so full.”
Now based in the Big Apple, Rayvin told The Daily Dish in 2022: “I’m living in New York City, working in fashion, and loving it! The hustle and bustle was made for me, and I fit right in. I’m always somewhere and… booked and busy, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac daughter added: “Of course, I want to touch all parts of the creative field — music, interior design, etc. — but my biggest aspiration is to be happy and fulfilled. My vision on what that means for me becomes clearer every day.”
And in the meantime, she’s doing plenty to make her mama happy and fulfilled.
Rayvin Huger sends Karen Huger “just because” flowers
In an Instagram post from September 2, Karen shared a photo of herself beaming next to a bouquet of lovely white flowers. “I received my first ‘Just Because’ flowers from my baby [Rayvin],” she wrote. “You know you might be doing something right as a Mom when you get just because flowers from your child. My heart is so full! Love you bunches little one.”
In the comments, Rayvin sweetly responded: “MOMMY! always thinking of you,” while Karen’s RHOP castmate Candiace Dillard Bassett wrote: “You two!!”
Karen and Rayvin also managed to spend some quality time together IRL. On August 6, Karen shared a video that offered a peek inside a Sunday spent with her daughter.
The pair took a walk together and sat down for an alfresco lunch, looking as stylish as ever. “Strolling with my favorite girl,” Karen captioned the post. Rayvin, meanwhile, commented, “Awwwwww I love you little lady.”
Karen Huger’s Amazing Career Accomplishment
Karen may be doing something right as a mom, but she’s also doing something right as an entrepreneur. In a recent Instagram post, the business owner revealed that she had just won an award.
“Truly, honored to be one of the 2023 Honorees at the Minerva Entrepreneurship Awards. Thank you Potomac Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated,” Karen wrote.
Her post continued: “La’ Dame By Karen Huger is celebrating its fifth year in business. As a successful black, female small business owner, I cannot think of a more perfect way to mark this milestone than to be recognized for the hard work, and dedication to my company. I cannot wait to share with you the next phase of La’ Dame.”
