Heather Dubrow Can't Wait to Get Kanye West on Her Podcast
The #RHOC host really wants to get inside the mind of Yeezy (naturally).
It's Heather Dubrow's world and we're just living in it. Well, at least it is every Tuesday when The Real Housewives of Orange County mom releases the latest episode of her Podcast One show dubbed just that. Since launching in November 2015, Heather's had guests from all walks of life, including RuPaul, Kyle Richards, and, yes, even Terry Dubrow. Heather is using her gift for gab to chat with celebrities and celebrity pals. But, there is one still person she'd still love to sit down with.
"I have so many dream guests. But I would say right now I would love to have Kanye West on just because he’s so, who knows what the heck would happen?" she told The Daily Dish. (Well, we think an epic rant is almost definitely guaranteed.) "And who surprised me the most? I have to say everyone surprises me. I think we have such a nice vibe in our studio. The comments I read about our show is that the interviews they hear with our guests are different than what they’ve told other people and we have a different vibe and I love hearing that and I love the variety of the guests that we do. I try not to just do celebrities or people on shows. I like to talk with authors and entrepreneurs and psychics and all kinds of things and it’s been so fulfilling and so amazing. I’m incredibly grateful."
And the formula is certainly working. "It’s so damn exciting. I’m the number one female podcast on Podcast One. We have over eight million downloads in eight months. We’re doing live shows now," she said. "And you know what I love about it? I’m such a control freak and I thought I knew exactly where it was going and as it turns out I didn’t. My agent said, 'You need to do a podcast,' and I’m like 'What the hell is that?' You know I went from like the rotary dial to the iPhone, I don’t know what a podcast is. And I love it, I love how unfiltered I can be, and I think it’s really giving people a different side of my personality." -Reporting by Alesandra Dubin
