Robyn Dixon Shares How She Really Feels About Karen Huger Showing Up Late to Her RHOP Finale Party

Everybody's talking about The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 5 finale, thanks to Juan Dixon's proposal to Robyn Dixon and Michael Darby and Chris Bassett's confrontation. But the cast was abuzz even at the start of the evening when it was unclear whether Karen Huger would show up to the event.

The RHOP Season 5 finale party, which was thrown by Robyn and Juan in celebration of the holiday season, took place just days after Karen's Wig Shift Party, a soirée that the grande dame memorably exited after the ladies questioned her about Monique Samuels' invitation. Though Karen told her friends that she may not make Robyn's party due to flight delays on her way back from appearing with her La'Dame fragrance on HSN in Florida, they wondered if she really just didn't want to face the rest of the group after the Wig Shift Party incident.

However, Karen emphasized that nothing could keep her from attending Robyn's party that night, especially since she had a feeling this would be the moment Juan got down on one knee. "I wanted to be there. And I was gonna be there come hell or high water," Karen shared in The Real Housewives of Potomac After Show, which you can view in the above clip exclusive to Bravo Insider. "And I didn't want my delay to distract from her celebration. I had put two and two together. I'm like, this is the big night. This is gonna happen. No story about me could take away from her celebration."

Unfortunately, Karen ended up missing Juan's proposal to Robyn, but it wasn't for lack of trying. "I came in very late that evening, threw on an outfit," Karen recalled in the RHOP After Show. "I don't think I had time for hair or makeup. You know I don't show up like that."
