Josh Flagg Reveals He Had Back Surgery for 10-Year Debilitating Pain
The power agent and husband Bobby Boyd discussed his recovery on The Doctors.
Josh Flagg typically gives off the vibe that he's unstoppable, but the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent, 32, revealed on The Doctors that he suffered from crushing pain for a decade, which required serious surgery.
"What you may not know is I've suffered from back problems for the last 10 years," he explained in an interview. "I did the X-rays, I did the MRIs, and the doctors told me I had a herniated disc. My dad when he was 30 had the same thing."
He lived with a baseline of pain for all those years, but his doctors acted quickly when it turned acute.
"Within two weeks of the initial pain, I was on the operating table," he recalled.
Josh went for surgery to repair the herniated disc almost immediately after his September honeymoon in Bora Bora with husband Bobby Boyd. In a clip shown on the The Doctors, he came to in the recovery room and said he wanted a pizza from iconic L.A. restaurant Spago; he revealed on the show that Spago's Wolfgang Puck made sure he had one of those pizzas delivered to the hospital within an hour of consciousness.
That level of service must have made things a little bit challenging for the hubby.
"Was he a good patient?" Bobby was asked on The Doctors.
"No," he replied. "Not really."
