Josh Flagg Breaks Down Client Carly Steel's "Very Specific Needs" for Her Dream House
The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent took an "eclectic" approach to finding his client a new home.
Josh Flagg is continuing his quest to find his client Carly Steel's new dream house. However, the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent has quite a few boxes to check along the way.
On the Season 15 premiere of MDLLA, Josh explained why he was hoping to find Carly a new house after recently working with her to purchase her current one.
"I sold my friend Carly this house with the intention of tearing it down and building a completely new, maybe $10 million house," he said. "Carly's plan with this property is to build this huge contemporary museum. I told Carly not to build a house. She didn't listen to me, and here we are two years later. It's gone from $10 million to $30 million and she's done absolutely nothing."

Josh Flagg gives an update on Carly Steel's house
During the episode, Josh shared that he had a potential buyer for her house, and as the video above shows, that deal is starting to progress.
"So there's an official offer of $16.5 million on Carly's property on Crescent, but it's not going to be on the table forever," Josh says in the clip, which is a preview of Season 15, Episode 2 (set to air July 17). "I convinced Carly to take the offer, but it's contingent upon her buying the house of her dreams."
With that in mind, Josh and Carly head to Mt. Olympus, which, Josh explains, "is an area in the Laurel Canyon section of Los Angeles where every street is named after a Greek God...it's eclectic, to say the least."
As they go look at a potential home for Carly, Josh notes, "Carly needs something turn-key that will require her not to build."
But that's not all. As Josh puts it, "She has very specific needs."
Josh then lists off just some of Carly's requirements: "New construction, walk-in closets, walkable to shops, she needs a marine feature...still not understanding that one." The clip also notes Carly is looking for "six bedrooms, room for [a] garden, large bathrooms, [and a] three-car garage."
Who is Carly Steel?
In addition to being Josh's friend and client, Carly is an actress, producer, and entertainment television host.
Previously, Carly appeared on Season 13 of MDLLA when she and Josh searched for the property she eventually ended up buying and planned to build on.
So, will Carly finally find her dream home? While the house in the video above (listed at $9,850,000) is under Carly's $10-15 million budget, viewers will have to tune in to MDLLA on July 17 to find out if the listing checks her other boxes.
