Josh Flagg Sold Judy Garland's Old House
The Knoll House isn't Josh's only major real estate triumph as of late.
According to The Real Deal, Josh was also the listing agent for a Bel-Air home that Judy Garland once owned, and the home was sold for $11 million.
The 2.7-acre estate was built and commissioned by architect Wallace Neff in the same year Garland was cast in The Wizard of Oz when she was just 16 years old. The 5,500-square-foot home, which is about a mile from Sunset Boulevard, was also home to other celebrity residents, including Marvin Gaye and Quincy Jones.
The property, which you can see above from a 1938 vintage postcard, features five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, a gated driveway, a chef's kitchen with a marble island, a pool in the backyard, and a writer's cottage. The cottage-style architecture and cozy interior with contemporary finishes provide an ideal mix of classic Hollywood elegance and updated luxury. Likewise, the outdoor landscaping adds a beautiful, idyllic feel to the home's overall charm.
