What Has Jordyn Woods Been Up to Since the Khloe Kardashian-Tristan Thompson Cheating Scandal Broke?
The former Kardashian bestie has been keeping a pretty low profile since her friendship with Kylie Jenner ended.
If the name Jordyn Woods wasn't on your radar last year, you probably have a fleeting idea of who she is by now. The 21-year-old, who was Kylie Jenner's best friend, gained notoriety in February after she allegedly made out with Tristan Thompson. Yes, that's Khloe Kardashian's ex, and the father to her child — and, yes, it was a mess.
Shortly after the news broke, Woods appeared on Red Table Talk to share her side of the story. Let's just say: her appearance wasn't exactly a major mea culpa that won over the people who thought she was being dishonest. That includes Khloe Kardashian herself. (But hey, at least Lena Dunham's on her side.)
Even though Woods hasn't made any major televised appearances since the whole Red Table Talk debacle, the controversial figure has been spotted out and about a few times — and not only at SUR. On March 8, she snapped a photo of herself with a brand new haircut, and added an inspirational quote about being granted a new day to start again.
Last week, she hit Craig's for dinner. The celeb-studded hotspot in Los Angeles isn't exactly a place to avoid the public eye, so we're guessing Woods didn't mind the paparazzi snaps — for which she smiled wide.
And a day before that, the 21-year-old shared a bit of career news on Instagram, pertaining to the three-lash set she launched in collaboration with Eylure: "I am so excited to come to London next week to celebrate my @eylureofficial lash collection launching exclusively in @superdrug," she wrote.
Once actually in London, Woods was snapped stepping out for a sushi dinner wearing a swanky golden dress. Though Kylie used to be her constant plus-one, it looks like Woods' mom has stepped into that role for the time being: She was with her on the sushi outing, and also at Craig's.
Though she did stop for sashimi while across the pond, it looks like this was a pretty big business trip for Woods. As she told fans, she was in London to promote her collaboration with Eylure. But, it's also said that Woods in the process of inking a few more major business deals, which were spurred along by her rise in fame after the scandal. She's recently gained about a million new Instagram followers, if that's any indication.
Side note: The first event that took place for Eylure happened in February, just days after the scandal broke — it ended up being sparsely attended and just slightly awkward for Woods, who said this in her speech:
"Thank you guys for coming out and supporting me through everything that’s going on. It’s been real, and Eylure has been super real with a project I’ve been working on for over nine months right now." We've got to give her props for a creative pivot! And actually, that little pivot might be a metaphor for her life at large right now.
