Jessel Taank Gifts Andy Cohen RHONY's Infamous "Christmas Tree" Lingerie
Christmas came early for the Watch What Happens Live host after Jessel Taank appeared on the show.
The green lingerie gifted to Jessel Taank on The Real Housewives of New York City might go down as the franchise’s most infamous attire to date.
Real Housewives fans have seen their fair share of iconic and controversial fashion statements. Now, as seen on the August 13, 2023 Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show, Jessel’s “Christmas tree” lingerie can be added to the list and also as the newest exhibit of BravoCon 2023.

What is the Christmas tree lingerie Jessel Taank gave Andy Cohen?
Fashion icon Jenna Lyons presented her castmates with beautiful lingerie while away at Erin Lichy’s Hamptons home slumber party. Jessel, however, was less than pleased with her green silk and black lace attire, which she said gave “Grinch vibes” and made her look like a “f-cking Christmas tree.”

“I absolutely hate it,” Jessel said in Season 14, Episode 2. “This is hideous. I would never wear it, by the way.”
The other ‘Wives — including Ubah Hassan and Sai De Silva — didn’t think the slip was all that bad, though Sai later called Jessel’s reaction a “big, bratty moment.”
“It doesn’t seem to me that she has any connection that what she’s saying might be really kind of rude and offensive,” Jenna said in the RHONY episode.
Jessel later sat with comedian, actor, and Bravo superfan Michael Rapaport for WWHL, with her husband, Pavit Randhawa, behind the bar. Jessel told Andy that she and Pavit had a gift for the WWHL host when Pavit presented him with a large black frame with the now-infamous green lingerie inside.
Andy offered a “wow” as Pavit walked the display to the seated host.
“Literally, I can’t imagine a piece of clothing getting more promotion and P.R. than this,” Jessel said of the Fleur du Mal piece.
Andy thanked the married couple, saying he “absolutely” loved it.
“This is going to BravoCon,” said Andy, referring to the highly-anticipated Las Vegas event happening in November 2023.
Jessel signed the frame just over the lingerie’s left breast for good measure.
Jessel Regrets Lingerie Reaction
In the recent WWHL episode, Andy asked Jessel if she regretted how she initially reacted to the gift.
“I really do; I mean, I should put myself in Jenna’s shoes. It was the most generous, I mean, she’s so thoughtful,” admitted Jessel. “I regret it.”
WWHL guest Rapaport added that while Jenna’s gift was “generous,” Jessel’s reaction shouldn’t have suggested a lack of appreciation.
“I thought you did look like a Christmas tree, but I mean that in the best way,” said Rapaport. “I felt like she could have kept giving you some more lingerie.”
So far, no word on how Jenna feels about Jessel regifting the lingerie to Cohen, but we’re certain BravoCon will appreciate it.
