Prepare yourself: We just got a first look at Jean Smart in character on the set of Bravo's upcoming true crime anthology series, Dirty John. The three-time Emmy award-winning actress, known for her work on shows inlcuding Designing Women, Samantha Who?, Fargo, and Legion, joined the star-studded cast earlier this year alongside Connie Britton and Eric Bana.
The series is based on the articles and popular podcast Dirty John by Los Angeles Times reporter Christopher Goffard. It tells the terrifying true story of single mother and interior designer Debra Newell (Britton), who falls in love with the charming "Dirty John" John Meehan (Bana), and gets pulled into his dangerous web of lies that puts her whole family at risk.

Dirty John is set to premiere on Bravo later this year.
