Jax Taylor Reveals a New Tattoo That Honors His Upbringing (PHOTO)
The Valley cast member honored his early years with a new massive tattoo on his arm.
Jax Taylor just added some more ink to his tattoo collection.
On January 7, The Valley cast member showed off a new design on the inside of his left arm. Jax first shared a photo of himself getting the work done inside Inkmanic Tattoo Studio in Glendale, California, by tattoo artist Ed Georgian.
Jax then revealed a close-up view of the tattoo in question: a Detroit Lions logo and the year "1979." Jax was born in Michigan in 1979, so that seems to be a shout-out to his hometown and upbringing. What's more, the now-California resident rocked a Detroit Lions hat and sweatshirt for the occasion, truly representing his background as he celebrated getting the new ink.
Jax Taylor's tattoo for his son, Cruz
In addition to his Michigan-centric ink, Jax got a tattoo to honor his 3-year-old son, Cruz Cauchi, in November 2024.
The West Coast dad took to his Instagram Story to show off the design, which was inked on his neck behind his right ear. The tattoo shows the numbers of Cruz's birth date — April 12, 2021 — written horizontally on his neck. The bar entrepreneur also punctuated the design with an Aries symbol (a ram) placed at the top of the birth date, since that's Cruz's zodiac sign.
In lieu of captioning the photo, Jax tagged the Toronto tattoo artist Mayflower Ink, who crafted the design.
Jax Taylor opens up about parenting Cruz
Jax always makes it obvious how much he loves being a father to Cruz, whom he now co-parents with his ex, Brittany Cartwright.
In the spring of 2024, he opened up on Instagram about bringing Cruz into the world, writing on Instagram, "The best thing I have ever done with my life.. How beautiful is he."
Moreover, on Cruz's birthday that year, he posted a sweet tribute to his son. "Happiest of birthdays to my special little man, mommy and daddy love you so much and we are so proud of you. You are the best thing to happen to both of us and we love watching you grow every day. I am beyond blessed to be your dad you are the kindest, happiest little boy on the planet you amaze me every day," Jax stated. "Having you for a son has been the greatest gift life has given me. For all that you have been, for all that you are, and for all that you have yet to be. I always be by your side for the rest of my life. Thank you for making me a dad. I love you son, Happy 3 birthday!"
