Sutton Stracke Reveals What’s *Actually* Happening with Her Store

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member detailed exactly why her business is changing.

By Cynthia Robinson

After Sutton Stracke's West Hollywood boutique posted a note on its website saying it was "temporarily closed for the month of August 2024," fans began wondering about the state of the business. Sutton quickly shut down speculation about the place shutting down, however, taking to her Instagram page to declare that both her boutique and sustainable clothing line, Sutton Brands, "are only getting better."

More recently, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member was a guest on Jeff Lewis' radio show, Jeff Lewis Live, and spoke further about the situation, clarifying what's actually going down with her eponymous store.

Is Sutton Stracke's store closing?

On the September 4 episode, Jeff pointed out that he recently spotted a "for lease" sign in the window of Sutton's store while driving by. Sutton laughed at first, joking that she got "kicked out" for not paying rent. She then went on to explain more of the details.

"I have expanded and don't need my storefront anymore," she stated. "So, all of my inventory has been put on a pallet and is being shipped to Houston."

Sutton added that she will now be "in the back" of the store with "samples" of clothing but that everything is going to be "by appointment only."

Details Cynthia Bailey’s Business Venture with Sutton Stracke

In addition to sharing new details about her business on the show, Sutton also dished on other topics with Cynthia Bailey, who joined her for the occasion.

Taking to her Instagram, Cynthia gushed about the experience with Sutton, also pointing out the "home collection" she started with Sutton's company, Sutton Brands

In September 2023, Sutton spoke exclusively with BravoTV.com about the details of the project with Cynthia.

“A lot of people don’t know that 70% of what is returned online goes into landfills,” Sutton explained. “In order to be truly sustainable, it has to be recycled back into fashion — so that’s what we’re doing.”

She added: “She started with home goods, so she’s doing bedding [and] sheets [and] a duvet and comforter […] She’s gonna add more and more. We want to be sustainable, we want to be good for the earth. We want to spread this message out […] to get fashion back in check, because we’re trying to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.”
