Sutton Stracke Addresses Speculation About Her Store: "Those Streets Are Talking..."
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member is clearing up a few details about her business.
In the video above, Sutton Stracke gives an exclusive tour of her West Hollywood boutique, Sutton, showing off unique (and "very expensive") items. “I wanted to bring all of my friends together,” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member shared of the thought process behind her store which features a mix of vintage finds and modern pieces. “They’re designers, jewelry designers, artists, everything, and I wanted them all in one place.”
More recently, Sutton took to her Instagram page to respond to speculation that her store was closing (the store's website currently states it's "temporarily closed for the month of August 2024").
"I hear those streets are talking about my store… If you want the real tea, just ask the pot," she captioned an August 18 Instagram post of herself posing in front of the store, which opened in 2019.
"Good things coming! And I love [West Hollywood] and we are in this together," Sutton added, also noting that both her boutique and her sustainable clothing line, Sutton Brands, "are only getting better."
While Sutton didn't provide any further details about the status of her store, she concluded her caption by noting, "[T]hank you for your patience."
Sutton Stracke's Fashion Sutton Brands Show
Good things may be coming for Sutton's businesses, but good things are also already happening.
In July, Sutton's RHOBH castmates Dorit Kemsley, Kyle Richards Erika Jayne, and Bravo newbie Bozoma Saint John gathered together for her Sutton Brands Green Label Capsule Collection.
Kyle's sister, Kathy Hilton, also attended the fabulous affair, and the ladies all took photos together in chic, fashion-forward looks.
Additionally, The Valley's Michelle Saniei Lally and Janet Caperna were also present for the stylish occasion. The ladies posed for photos with their close pals, Vanderpump Rules' Scheana Shay and Lala Kent.
Sutton Stracke's Sustainable Fashion Business
At Jovani's New York Fashion Week debut in September 2023, Sutton spoke exclusively with BravoTV.com about the concept of Sutton Brands and why she feels so closely connected to its core mission of sustainability.
“A lot of people don’t know that 70% of what is returned online goes into landfills,” Sutton explained. “In order to be truly sustainable, it has to be recycled back into fashion — so that’s what we’re doing.”
She added: “We want to be sustainable, we want to be good for the earth. We want to spread this message out […] to get fashion back in check, because we’re trying to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.”
