Is Lauren Manzo Having a Baby?
"I want to give them grandkids so bad," the newly-married #Manzod star says of parents Caroline and Al.
First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes — wait, not so fast. Lauren Manzo may have just married her longtime love Vito Scalia, but she tells Today that she and her hubby aren’t quite ready for parenthood just yet. “We’re looking for a house right now and I want to give [my parents] grandkids so bad, but at the same time I’m like, ‘Let’s just wait, get a house,’” she says during the family's appearance on Today on Monday (August 10). “We’re going to wait. Our first vacation together was our honeymoon.”
Not only is Lauren and Vito's wedding front and center in Manzo'd Season 2, it was a major event for all family members. "It was a fun year for all of us because as far as the show goes, this is the biggest moment our family has had since we’ve been a family," Albie says. "And when you throw the cameras into it it’s always something that brings on some additional anxiety and stuff, but it was fun."
Even though Lauren and Vito have yet to leave Caroline and Albert’s New Jersey home, the proud mom is more than ready to see her daughter starting a new life. “It’s great, that’s what you raise them for, that’s why you have them,” she explains. “You have them to let them go and to just be productive people out in the world. If they were messes, I’d be like ‘Ugh,’ but they’re not, they’re awesome kids, they’re my babies, I always say babies, so deal with it. But I think we did a hell of a job.”
