Kathy Hilton and her husband, Rick Hilton, have officially been married for 45 years! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills friend and her longtime love just celebrated the milestone anniversary on Nov. 24, and now she's revealing all of the secrets to what makes their marriage work.
Kathy and Rick rang in this major wedding anniversary with a very romantic trip to Europe where they spent "five days in Paris and seven days in London," Kathy told People. But it's not just vacations that make their marriage work — it's the fact that she and her partner are "best friends."
"And, I was just saying to someone, getting married so young like that — I was 19 and he was 23 — [the key is] just keeping the right people around you, the right influences, and being around other couples who are happy [and] have the same values as you," she told the publication.
Rick Hilton's Anniversary Tribute to Kathy Hilton
Kathy's real estate agent husband took to Instagram on Dec. 1, where he posted a sweet photo of Kathy wearing a light pink dress and standing in front of a Christmas tree. He then took to the caption of the post where he wrote such a sweet tribute to her.
He wrote, "I had a lovely time celebrating our anniversary, which was even more exciting because my angel came down from heaven!"
Sutton Stracke took to the comments of the post where she left an adoring message for the couple. "Sweetest post ever," she wrote.

Kathy and Rick's oldest kid, Paris Hilton, also took to her Instagram account, where she posted an adorable throwback video of Rick making a toast in Kathy's honor at their 20th anniversary party. "Kathy is my best friend, and I think about the last 20 years, and we dated about five years before that, that it just gets better every year," Rick said in the video.
Paris then noted everything that she admires about her parents in the caption of the post. "Dad, the way you speak about Mom with so much admiration and devotion is truly inspiring," their daughter wrote. "Your love for each other has always been the kind of love I've aspired to find. Thank you for being the ultimate example of partnership, loyalty, and unconditional love. You're my forever [relationship goals] and I'm so grateful for the beautiful legacy of love you've built together. I love you both so much!"
Kathy posted the same video to her Instagram account a day later, where she had similar things to say about her marriage. "So happy to be celebrating another anniversary with the love of my life!"
Kathy Hilton reveals the secret to a strong marriage
Two months before celebrating her milestone wedding anniversary, Kathy told People in September the secret to maintaining their strong marriage. "We have not been away from each other for two weeks in [all our] years of marriage," she said.
"I don't think you go to bed without saying, 'I love you,' and giving each other a kiss and never in a fight or anything," she continued. "If you have had a disagreement, you always make up before you go to sleep and keep a little mystery and keep it exciting and fun."
