Invite Only Cabo Pal Emily Moses Opens Up About Her Cancer Battle

Emily Moses has certainly been living her life like an open book this season on Invite Only Cabo. But going into the experience, the celebrity make-up artist was dealing with a medical scare that totally changed the trip for her: the possibility if having breast cancer. And that personal tumult certainly contributed to how she acted when she landed in Mexico.

"Part of the reason you got to see Emily so crazy and going through so much anxiety was because three days before I left for Cabo, Joseph actually found a lump in my left breast," she recalled to Too Fab, adding, "So I had to spend that entire time wondering if I had breast cancer or not."

Emily hopes that putting that time in her life into context helps fans understand why she was acting the way she was a little bit better. She explained, "Hopefully the world will understand my craziness and my reactions and the way I handle things because I was dealing with a lot of anxiety and also the fact that I might have breast cancer, and I was also dealing with a lot of bullying and B.S. and I don’t like Mexican food so I was drinking more than I was eating so [there were] many factors involved that made me react the way I did."

After the trip, Emily was eventually diagnosed with the disease and later underwent treatment. "What you got to see was my reaction to reality and the best part of my reality is that now that I know that I get to see that crazy bitch Emily on television, it made me spend the last six months not only fighting breast cancer and dealing with radiation," she said, "But also, um, I've been doing brain training to go through my addiction and issues and all the issues I lost on camera, I really went in."
