Just when you thought Paul “Paulie” Connell’s home couldn’t get any sexier…
Ahead of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere, cast member Dolores Catania and her boyfriend, Paulie, gave BravoTV.com an inside look at one of the most intimate spaces in their home. That’s right: They opened the doors to their bedroom.
“This is where the magic happens,” Paulie said as he and Dolores entered the space.

Just like the rest of the home, Paulie and Dolores’ bedroom had a contemporary yet cozy vibe dominated by neutral colors like black, white, and gray. The bed, covered with a light-toned comforter and decorative pillows, sat in front of a charcoal padded wall and was flanked by sleek black nightstands with white geometric lamps.

The area rug and cream-colored walls added a lightness to the space, which also featured glossy black baseboards and floor-to-ceiling windows that framed the gorgeous city skyline.
“How could you not love to wake up to this view?” Dolores asked. “I like brightness. I like an airy, open space and I like the view.”
Dolores Catania moves in with Paulie Connell
According to real estate records obtained by The Sun, Paulie purchased the five-bedroom townhouse for $2.3 million in 2018, about four years before he and Dolores went Instagram official. At the time of the announcement, Dolores was living in a beautiful townhouse rental while her primary home was being renovated. But shortly after the house was completed, the Jersey ’Wife revealed she had shacked up with her Irish-born beau.
“I live with Paul now,” she told her castmates during RHONJ Season 13, Episode 11. “So we went away on vacation and then when we came back, he said, ‘Don’t go. Just stay.’ It’s very different for me. Sometimes we spend the whole day together and I’m, like, ‘Is this real?’ It’s a little bit surreal to me.”

Dolores also confirmed she and Paulie had discussed marriage but were facing one giant roadblock: Paulie was still legally married to his estranged wife.
“He’s been separated for 14 years,” Dolores said during the RHONJ Season 13 reunion, explaining why it took so long for him to get a divorce. “I think there was never a call for it. I think he never thought about getting married again.”

Dolores re-addressed the issue in the RHONJ Season 14 premiere (May 5).
“So when do you put a damn ring on [Dolores’] finger?” Luis “Louie” Ruelas asked Paulie.
“I mean, I really have to get divorced first, right?” the father of two responded.
“Yeah, I wouldn’t feel comfortable getting engaged without his divorce being final,” Dolores added.
Paulie went on to say that his divorce was “in the works” and was “very close” to being finalized; and once that’s done, he intends to pop the question.
“She deserves a proper engagement,” Paulie said.
