Alexis Bellino Gets Real About What’s Happening with John Janssen After a “Whirlwind” Season

Alexis Bellino had a busy but fun-filled holiday season with her man.
After the Christmas dust began to settle, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum took to Instagram to provide a quick recap of her holiday highlights. The December 29 Reel started with a sweet shot of Alexis and her fiancé, John Janssen, at Kathy Hilton's annual Christmas party, where they stunned on the red carpet, sang holiday classics, and snapped a few photos with their friends and fellow Bravolebs.

But make no mistake, the post wasn’t all about the happy couple. Alexis also shared a look at their family get-togethers, which included John’s relatives as well as her three kids, James, Miles, and Mackenna, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Jim Bellino. The post showed the family enjoying dinner, attending a church service, and watching a holiday boat parade. There were also several shots of Alexis and John’s family pets — you know, for that extra dose of cuteness.
“Christmas 2024 was a whirlwind but it blended perfectly with this Brady bunch!” Alexis captioned the December 29 montage. “Lots of family in town and not enough time to do it all!!! Can’t wait to hear what y’all are doing for the New Year!!!!”
Alexis and John get engaged after nine months of dating
2024 marked Alexis and John’s second holiday season as a couple. The two began dating in November of 2023 and became engaged about nine months later. Alexis, who appeared as a friend in RHOC Season 18, announced the engagement in an August 28 Instagram.
“On Cloud 9, celebrating 9 months of love and laughter, and looking forward to my forever with you,” Alexis captioned a photo of her and John. “Every moment together has been a gift. I am so in love with you and the beautiful life we’re building together. And the answer is 100000000% yes.”
Alexis celebrates her first anniversary with John
About three months after John popped the question, he and Alexis rang in their first anniversary. Alexis celebrated the milestone in a November 20 Instagram that included photos from The Quiet Woman — the now-iconic OC restaurant where she and John first met.
“Where it all began one year ago [The Quiet Woman],” Alexis wrote. “Who would have thought we’d ever meet in life??? And within the next two years I’d your wife. It’s crazy to think where we began as friends and where we are now!!!!!!! … I can’t wait to forever be Mrs. Janssen. I love you, Johnny.”
