Morgan Wade's Confession About Her Younger Days Left Even Kyle Richards Floored (PHOTO)
The country singer just shared a very real look at her life before fame that shook several members of the Bravo family.
Morgan Wade is keeping it real about her pre-fame life. In fact, the country singer took her Instagram followers all the way back to her childhood this week and shared a rather surprising fact about her younger self alongside a throwback photo.
The photo of Morgan as a kid has the song "It Wasn't Me" by Shaggy and Rik Rok playing over it. She noted about the time in which she photo was taken, "This was my fave song when I looked like this." Morgan went onto caption the snapshot from when she was young: "I ain’t even lying."
The photo and the confession certainly prompted many responses given the song's, well, lyrical content (Google it, if you don't believe us). The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards shared her reaction to the funny reveal by commenting with a laughing-crying emoji as well as a palm to face emoji.
Tamra Judge from The Real Housewives of Orange County as well as Bravo friend and E! host, Justin Sylvester, liked the post, while Morgan's manager, Mary Sparr, commented, "I'm scared of the content that’s gonna roll out if you stay on all this medicine too long."
(For context, Morgan has been recovering after experiencing vocal issues earlier this week that forced her to cancel a show on her Obsessed tour. For what it's worth, Morgan may not have to be on medicine for much longer as she revealed in the comments of the post that she is on the mend after experiencing vocal issues earlier this week. When a fan asked how her voice is doing now, she revealed "better. Much better.")
Morgan Wade reflects on her childhood
Morgan was born in Virginia and has shared that she found a love for music at an early age. “I remember I was in the first grade, and I was just electrified by Elvis. Eventually, my mom took me to Graceland. He was different, and he didn’t fit any mold and he just kinda made his own path. And so I really connected with that," she shared in 2022 with WhiskeyRiff. "I love ‘Suspicious Minds,’ it’s one of my favorite songs, and the guys and I started playing it live on the last tour. And then we went and recorded it and put it on Reckless deluxe, and it’s been really fun.”
She also told Wonderland that she began pursuing music at a young age: "I’ve been writing songs for as long as I can remember," she said. "I started playing the violin at the age of seven, and eventually stopped and moved on to the guitar. I started playing music live when I was 19, and I’ve been doing it ever since."
