This RHONJ Family Tree Will Help You Keep Track of How Everyone Is Connected
From the Gorgas and the Giudices to the Manzos and the Lauritas, here's who is who on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
When it comes to family, nobody is more passionate than the current and previous cast members of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Fans of the show will likely never forget Caroline Manzo’s famous quote about her crew, in which she said, “Let me tell you about my family. We’re as thick as thieves, and we protect each other ’til the end.” But still, it’s understandable that some viewers may have forgotten exactly how everyone is connected. While you’re bingeing the series (by the way, Seasons 1 through 9 are now available to stream on Peacock), you may want to keep this explanation of family ties handy to remember who is who.
The Manzo and Laurita Families
Let’s start from the very beginning, shall we? The first season of RHONJ introduced the Manzo and Laurita families. Caroline and Dina Manzo are sisters who, at the time, were both married to brothers, Albert and Tommy Manzo. Caroline has three children: Albie, Chris and Lauren. Lauren is now married to Vito Scalia, and together, they have an adorable daughter named Marchesa "Markie" Scalia. Dina has a daughter named Lexi.
Jacqueline Laurita is Dina and Caroline’s sister-in-law through her marriage to their brother, Chris Laurita. She has three children: sons CJ and Nicholas, and daughter Ashlee Holmes Malleo, from a previous relationship. Ashlee is a mother to son Cameron Hendrix, who she welcomed with husband Pete Malleo, who she is currently separated from.
The Gorga, Giudice, and Wakile Families
In Season 1, Teresa Giudice had been close to the Manzo-Laurita family for many years, and was married to her now ex-husband, Joe Giudice. Together, they have four daughters: Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana, who was born in Season 2.
In Season 3, Teresa’s family members, Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile, were introduced. (They also made some appearances during Season 2, while attending family events.) Melissa is married to Teresa’s brother, Joe Gorga, and together they have three kids: Antonia, Joey, and Gino. Kathy is Joe and Teresa’s cousin on their mother’s side. She is married to Rich Wakile, and they have a son, Joseph, and a daughter, Victoria. Viewers also met Kathy's sister, Rosie Pierri.
The Staub Family
Danielle Staub met the rest of the women through Jacqueline, and has two daughters, Christine and Jillian. In Season 9, Danielle married Marty Caffrey. The pair have since broken up, and the couple's divorce was finalized in February 2019.
The Twins
Season 6 introduced us to twin sisters Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano. Nicole has two sons, Anthony and Joey, with her ex-husband Joseph Mauriello. Teresa has a son, Giovanni, with husband Rino.
The Catania Family
Teresa Giudice's longtime friend Dolores Catania joined the cast in Season 7. She's part of an extremely tight-knit family, and has shared her close relationship with ex-husband Frank Catania with viewers ever since. Together, the pair have two children, Frankie and Gabrielle.
The Josephs Family
Margaret Josephs joined the cast in Season 8, bringing along her mother, Marge Sr., and husband, Joe Benigno. Margaret is also a stepmother to her ex-husband Jan Josephs' children.
The Aydin Family
Jennifer Aydin made a splash when she joined the cast in Season 9 with her husband, Bill Aydin, and their five children: Justin, Gabriella, Jacob, Christian, and Olivia.
The Goldschneider Family
The Aydins aren't the only big family that came to RHONJ in Season 9! We also met Jackie Goldschneider, her husband, Evan, and their two sets of twins: Jonas and Adin, and Hudson and Alexis.
