See how Kyle Richards, Kenya Moore, Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson reacted to her prison sentence.

Teresa Giudice is adjusting to a new reality this week: the Real Housewives of New Jersey star began her 15-month prison sentence Monday in a federal institution after being convicted for multiple counts of fraud last year.

How to Watch

Her fellow Housewives are speaking out about the news—and sending their love and support to Teresa and her family.

"Thinking of [Teresa] and her children today," Kyle posted on Twitter Monday morning.

Housewives in Orange County also took to their social media accounts to share kind words. "My heart is breaking for Teresa and her family today. Prayers for those little innocent girls," Tamra Judge wrote on Facebook. "So sad knowing that one of our Bravo family members is going to jail today," added Vicki Gunvalson. "Praying for those 4 little girls and [Teresa] during this time."

In Atlanta, meanwhile, Kenya Moore shared, "My heart goes out 2 [Teresa] and her family. Such a sad day for a mother to be separated from her children. Saying a prayer for u all."

In the early hours of Monday morning Teresa reported to a Danbury, Connecticut institution to begin her sentence. Her lawyer released a statement saying she was ready to start serving her time. "Teresa is a very strong woman, she won't have any problems in there," the lawyer said. "When we arrived at Danbury, everyone we encountered was extremely courteous and respectful."
