He put a ring on it! Hilary Swank just got engaged to her boyfriend of nearly a year, Ruben Torres, the actress revealed on Instagram Tuesday.
Hilary shared the good news along with a gorgeous pic of the couple in which she also showed off her engagement ring that appears to feature a ginormous emerald rock. "Went on a hike and this happened!" Hilary gushed on Instagram. "I am so happy to share with you all, the engagement to my dear Ruben. #Engaged."
The two-time Academy Award winner also shared the news of her proposal with her Twitter followers Tuesday. And of course, the beautiful couple had to seal the engagement with a kiss, right?
Ruben, a former tennis pro-turned-financial-adviser, reportedly popped the question over the weekend during the BNP Paribas Tennis Open in Palm Springs, a source told PEOPLE.
Hilary and Ruben have been romantically linked since July, but the couple made its official red carpet debut last December at an Art Basel Miami Beach kick-off party.
This will be Hilary's second marriage. She previously married actor Chad Lowe in 1997, and the couple split in 2006.
