Heather Gay’s Daughter Has Officially Moved to Miami For College (PHOTOS)

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member's middle child is growing up and moving to Miami to start her next chapter at university.

By Casey Suglia

Heather Gay is just one step closer to becoming an empty nester. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member is the mom to three daughters — Ashley, Georgia, and Annabelle — who she shares with ex-husband, Billy Gay. The "tight-knit group" of girls and their mom are very close, but two of them have already flown the nest.

How to Watch

Watch the Season 5 premiere of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City on September 18th at 9/8c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Her eldest daughter, Ashley Gay, is an incoming senior at UC Santa Barbara. And, now, Heather's middle child, Georgia Gay, just moved to Miami, Florida where she will start her freshman year at the University of Miami very soon.

Heather, Ashley, and Georgia all took to their Instagram Stories and Feeds over the past week where they documented the move-in process and adjustment period. Heather took to her Instagram Story, where she posted a photo of a University of Miami foam finger sitting on a desk in an empty dorm room in front of a window.

"Move-In Day!" Heather wrote over the photo, tagging Georgia and the University of Miami.

Ashley then took to her Instagram Story, where she posted a selfie with Georgia, Annabelle, and their mom, smiling in a bathroom mirror, looking like quadruplets. She later posted a photo of Georgia, hanging out at her college and wearing her finest UM orange. "University of Miami's newest addition," Ashley wrote over the photo.

"Proud sister moment," she added, tagging Georgia.

Georgia took to her own feed where she showed off her new backyard — the beach. In the photo, Georgia can be seen wearing a matching pink set, standing on the beach, next to the ocean. The coast is a far cry from the mountains of Salt Lake City, Utah, but Georgia doesn't seem to mind.

"I think I'm gonna like it here," she wrote in the caption of the post, tagging the photo's location as Miami, Florida.

Georgia also took to her TikTok account, where she posted a video of her lip-synching to Taylor Swift's song, "Florida!!!" while counting down the days until she moved to Miami. "This is your sign to go out of state and move across the country," Georgia wrote in the caption.

Heather Gay opens up about Georgia Gay's college acceptances

Prior to selecting which college she would be attending, Georgia applied to a number of schools. Ahead of Georgia's high school graduation, Heather took to Instagram, where she reposted a video of Georgia opening her acceptance letters to the following schools: the University of Miami, the University of California-Santa Barbara, the University of California-Irvine, the University of California-Berkeley, and the University of California-San Diego.

Heather took to the caption, where she expressed her excitement for her daughter. "So proud of my 2024 Graduate," she wrote in the caption of the post. "Love you G!"

Heather Gay reflects on Ashley Gay's college life

During RHOSLC Season 4, Episode 7, Heather reflected on Ashley's college life and how different it was from her own college experience. "I was thinking and seeing in the world in a much different way when I was her age," Heather said during an episode confessional.

"I've read my journal and it's humiliatingly embarrassing," she added. "I feel like Ashley is the version of me if I hadn't been raised in the church."
