How to Watch

Watch the Season 5 premiere of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City on September 18th at 9/8c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock and the Bravo App.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member and Bad Mormon author announced on Monday, July 15 that she will be releasing a second memoir, which will be released in early December.

"This book goes where Bad Mormon was afraid to," Heather revealed in an Instagram announcement

What is Heather Gay's book, Good Time Girl, about?

Heather's new memoir will include stories that she's gathered as "a life-long reveler in all things indulgent."

Per the description from Simon & Schuster: "Coming off the heels of the most-watched RHOSLC episode of all time, Heather gives a behind-the-scenes look at the receipts, proof, timeline, and screenshots of that fateful night in Bermuda. From the illicit high school trips to Tijuana and awkward dates set up by her overzealous costars, Good Time Girl is a charming and intimate meditation on community, love, independence, womanhood, and — most importantly — second chances."

Heather told People that the 288-page memoir will show RHOSLC viewers a side of her that they've never seen before. "The last few years have been full of experiences and adventures I have never expected to have," she said.

"Leaving the LDS church and becoming a Real Housewife changed my life in so many ways, but at the same time, it revealed the Good Time Girl I've always been. Now, with time and distance, I'm able to reflect on funny escapades I once thought I'd be too ashamed to ever share."

What is Heather Gay's book cover for Good Time Girl?

Although the cover of Bad Mormon featured Heather buttoned up, Good Time Girl is all about her letting loose — and the cover reflects that. Heather can be seen on the cover, sans shirt, flashing the camera, with the book title placed over her chest.

Heather told People that she won't be "flashing the audience any time soon." But, "the cover is a nod to the girl I might've been in college, and to the parts of me now that I'm finally ready to embrace."

The title is inspired by RHOSLC Season 1, Episode 1 when cast member Lisa Barlow said that she did not remember Heather from college — as seen in the video above — other than that she liked to have fun. In recounting the conversation to Heather, one cast member said that Lisa called Heather a "good time girl" and made the motion of lifting up their shirt.

Congratulations Heather. I've never been more excited about a book. I mean, you've inspired me to write a novel in the comments. You look amazing. Beyond excited for you!"
