Bravolebrities Rock Purple to Celebrate GLAAD Spirit Day
Dorinda Medley, Kandi Burruss, and more share support for the LGBT community and stand up against bullying.
Bravolebrities stepped up their style with a pop of purple on October 15 — for a good cause. Launched in 2010, GLAAD Spirit Day helps bring awareness to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender youths, and folks can show their support annually by wearing the royal hue. "I am proud to take part in Spirit Day by wearing purple and taking a united stand against bullying and showing my spirit for the LGBT youth," Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards shared in a video about the day (below).
But she was hardly the only Housewife who stood up for LGBT youth.
Real Housewives of New York's Dorinda Medley paid homage to one of Season 7's most memorable moments while also taking a stand.
"Honored to wear purple to show support for #LGBT youth today," RHONY's Bethenny Frankel added.
Caroline Manzo also rocked purple on Instagram.
Real Housewives of Atlanta fashionista Cynthia Bailey wore her #SpiritDay colors proudly.
RHOA's Kandi Burruss added she was "honored" to wear purple on October 15.
RHONY alum Aviva Drescher turned her photo purple to celebrate the day.

Meghan King Edmonds wore a LPD (little purple dress) to mark the occassion.
Top Chef cheftestant and judge Richard Blais tweeted, encouraging fans to take a stand against bullying.
"Being bullied sucks," Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi wrote, wearing not just purple clothes but also some purple on her lips.
"I'm proud to be wearing purple today to help stand with #LGBT youth against bullying!!" Gail Simmons wrote.
Purple just so happens to be Ryan Serhant's favorite color.
