Gina Kirschenheiter Shares What Made Her Temporarily Quit RHOC During the Miraval Trip
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member was ready to pack her bags and head home.
The Real Housewives of Orange County ladies' Season 14 trip to Miraval Resort in Arizona was even more intense than it appeared onscreen. Gina Kirschenheiter revealed on The Real Housewives of Orange County After Show that the stress from her argument with BFF Emily Simpson was so intense that it caused her to actually quit the show while on vacation!
"I stormed out. I quit the show," Gina revealed. "I was in the dark, I was in the pitch black reaching for my bags like, 'I'm going home, I'm going home.'"
As for why she quit, Gina explained that she didn't think Emily was sensitive enough after watching Gina going through a tough time, which included discovering that her ex-husband was continuing a relationship with the woman he had an affair with, as well as Gina's drunk driving arrest earlier this year.
"First of all, I was very vulnerable in the moment too and I was really upset," Gina explained. "And then Emily came in. Emily was there to console me but then she's all like, 'And now I feel like it's tense between you and I.' And I'm like, 'What is happening right now and how did I end up here?!' I was like, 'Emily, I'm so upset; I'm having such a hard time.' And she's like, 'Well, what else happened?' And I'm like, 'Does something else need to happen?!'"
