Yolanda and Mohamed Hadid Are Officially Grandparents

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are officially parents to a baby girl. The model and the pop star confirmed the birth of their first child in separate social media posts that featured a sneak peek at the newborn in first photos of the tot.

Gigi wrote, "Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world. So in love."

Zayn added, "Our baby girl is here, healthy & beautiful," Zayn shared on Twitter. "To try put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, [and] thankful for the life we will have together."

The arrival of the baby means that Gigi's parents, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Yolanda Hadid and Mohamed Hadid, are now first-time grandparents (Anwar Hadid's pets with Dua Lipa don't really count as offspring).

Yolanda has yet to react to the baby's birth but did post an Instagram in the days before about her excitement to meet the baby, while Mohamed did react to the baby's birth on Instagram.

Alongside a photo of a handwritten note for the baby, he captioned the pic, "Welcome to earth Baby Girl Lets paint the town .. and give it a Little Rock N Roll."
