Gigi Hadid Says She Will Do Her "Best" to Be as Good of a Mother as Yolanda
The mom-to-be shared a sweet Mother's Day message for the RHOBH alum.
Mama-to-be Gigi Hadid is taking notes from her own mother, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Yolanda Hadid.
Gigi, who recently confirmed that she is expecting a baby girl in September with her boyfriend, Zayn Malik, shared an adorable throwback photo of her and Yolanda at the beach for Mother’s Day on May 10. In the photo, Yolanda is pregnant with her daughter Bella Hadid, and Gigi is an adorable little kid in a pink, ruffled bathing suit.
“Best I could ever ask for,” Gigi captioned the sweet picture. “Happy Mother’s Day to the one I’ll do my best to emulate. I love you beyond words @yolanda.hadid you are a superhero!!!”
Yolanda responded to the heart-felt message in the comment section, writing, “Thank you my love.”
Before Gigi’s exciting baby news broke, Yolanda shared a family update with BravoTV.com, which you can watch in the video above. “You know, this self-isolation time has been interesting,” she said. “It’s a time to look within, and you get to spend so much time with yourself and your children and the people you’re in isolation with.”
Yolanda then went on to explain that she’s using the time to become an even better mother and friend.
“Personally, I’ve been trying to use this opportunity to grow and really look within myself at where I can get better — as a woman, as a mother, as a friend to others,” she said. “I think it's also been great that it's been a time to spend more time with my children, family time that we haven't really had for the past five years.”
