Gigi Hadid Dishes on Being BFFs With Taylor Swift
The supermodel shares what actually goes down when she and her celebrity girls get together.
One might think that when you take a few of the world's hottest supermodels and pair them with one of the world's most successful pop stars, you'd get wild nights out at the most exclusive hot spots. But when it comes to Gigi Hadid and her girlfriends, think again.
Daughter of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster, Gigi counts fellow models Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, and superstar Taylor Swift as some of her closest friends. And their idea of a good time is a lot more tame than you would assume.
A favorite activity for the beauties? "Girls night in! We love staying in," she tells InStyle. "Our job is kind of being out. We love watching random movies and cooking or ordering in, having dance parties in the living room."
But don't expect a glimpse into their girls night dance parties to be hitting any of their social media accounts any time soon. "It's embarrassing if you saw us dancing," she admits.
The best part about girls night though is being able to completely let loose, something Gigi's been learning a lot about from bestie Taylor. "My favorite thing about Taylor is that she's just always herself," she shares with People. "She's really true to that and it's really inspiring to just hang out with someone who's genuine and who's just unapologetically Taylor, and it's cool."
Their girls nights may not be as frequent as they would like due to their personal and professional endeavors, and though Gigi misses the hijinks they include, she misses the time spent with her best friends the most.
"Missing girls night for its Shirley Temples and Britney sing-a-longs, but mostly missing these two," she titled a selfie with Karlie Kloss and Taylor Swift.
