Gia Giudice Is "Crying" Over Her "First Big Girl Purchase"
The RHONJ daughter also took fans inside her car-shopping trip with Teresa Giudice: "So grateful."
It was a dream-come-true moment for Gia Giudice.
On Thursday, May 16, The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter took to Instagram to celebrate her very first “big girl purchase.” The post showed an ecstatic Gia at the Paul Miller Porsche dealership in Parsippany-Troy Hills, where she had copped a brand-new car.
“First big girl purchase,” she captioned the carousel, which included a photo of her holding a “sold” sign. “Screaming.. crying.. so grateful.”

The post was flooded with congratulatory messages from fans, friends, and Bravolebrities, including her mother, Teresa Giudice; her father, Joe Giudice; her stepdad, Luis “Louie” Ruelas; and her little sister Milania Giudice.
“So proud of you,” Teresa commented.
“Congratulations you deserved this,” RHONJ’s Dolores Catania added. “U worked so hard so happy for u.”

Gia goes car shopping with her mom, Teresa Giudice
Gia documented her car search in a May 16 TikTok video featuring her mom. The aspiring attorney said she spent the past year borrowing a Mercedes Benz and was finally ready to purchase a car all on her own.
“So, I’ve been driving [her little sister] Gabriella’s car for a little while now because she’s been at the University of Michigan, and now that she’s coming home, I need a car,” she said in the clip, which included a heartwarming caption about her mom: “So happy I get to have these moments with my mom even though I’m getting older I’ll always need her by my side.”
The video then cut to Gia test-driving a Porsche Macan while Teresa filmed from the front passenger seat.
“I like the name of it. Macan. It reminds me of Cannes,” the Jersey mom said. “You went there this summer, South of France.”
Gia was clearly comfortable in the Macan and was pleased with how smooth it drove.
“You know what? I’ve never test drove cars before. I just buy them,” Teresa admitted. "I that’s why I’m, like, ‘I want you to test drive it. See what you like better.’ It does make a difference, I swear.”

The mother and daughter returned to the dealership several minutes later and decided to take a spin in a Porsche Cayenne — the same model Teresa owned when she appeared in RHONJ Season 1 (2009).
“I had this Cayenne with you, Milania, and Gabriella when you guys were babies,” the ’Wife said. “I started the show with this car… Yeah, this was my first car on the show. This and daddy had a Maserati. We had like seven — yeah, we had other cars, too.”
Gia said she liked how high the Cayenne was, but felt the Macan was a little smoother.
“Because it’s a car; this is more of an SUV,” Teresa replied. “I don’t like SUVs, just saying. Because I feel like they’re mommy cars.”

After a few test drives, Gia ultimately chose the 2024 Macan T in the chalk colorway. She posted a separate TikTok of her signing the purchase agreement, which she described as "the realest moment" of the car-buying process.
“I’m super excited,” she said in the video. “I got all of my car essentials in a trunk organizer, I was ready to go… I love it. This is my new baby. I am seriously just so excited, grateful that I was able to get my dream car all on my own. I am seriously just so happy right now, guys, you have no idea. I’ve been dreaming of this moment for so long.”
