Gia Giudice may only be in her second year at college, but The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter has a very clear vision for her future. How do we know? Well, she offered an update on her academic life and career goals during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on May 9.

How to Watch

"I am a sophomore at Rutgers University. I'm still pursuing my dream of becoming a lawyer, so that's really exciting for me. I've definitely been getting a lot of more promotional deals and just hanging out with friends and family. I've been enjoying life," Gia explained during her appearance virtually in the Clubhouse.

She added that she was in the Bahamas during the WWHL episode where her dad, Joe Giudice, has been living after his appeal in his deportation case was denied in 2020. Before that, following his release from an ICE facility in 2019 which came after his release from prison that same year, Joe was living in his native Italy. Gia's mom, Teresa Giudice, also served time in jail previously; she was released in December 2015

Gia said, "Their whole experience influenced me, honestly, for the better. I just want to help families and be able to be there for families and help children, honestly, especially."

Back in 2019, Teresa shared a similar sentiment about Gia's future during an interview with The Daily Dish, which you can check out, below.

Teresa Giudice's Daughter Gia Giudice Is Interested in Pursuing a Career in Law

During her appearance on WWHL this past Sunday, Gia opened up about her mom, as the episode just so happened to air on Mother's Day. "My mom taught me to be true to myself and to live life, 'cause unfortunately, you don't know what else is going to come at you, and due to that, I've also just grown such independence from her," she said. "She's amazing."

Gia also wrote a message for Teresa on Instagram as the perfect Mother's Day tribute. She wrote over the weekend, "Thank you for all the amazing qualities that you have instilled in me! Such as, showing me what amazing work ethic is, confidence, to be free spirited, and to always show love! Thank you for the unconditional love everyday!"
